Meet Iman Abdeshahian, D.M.D.

Dr. Iman Abdeshahian has served the Southern California community for over a decade to provide personalized dental care to his patients.

Born in Switzerland and raised in England, Dr. Iman moved to the United States to pursue his passion of dentistry. He obtained his doctorate degree from Midwestern College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors. He continued his clinical training at the renowned Guys’ Hospital. He participated in research at UT Southwestern that helped support the development of laser-activated skin fillers, laser tattoo removal and clarification of the roles that microRNAs play in post transcriptional regulation of gene expression.

Dr. Iman believes dentistry requires an understanding of whole-body health, not just the teeth. He is focused on building trusting relationships with his patients and working as a team to improve the patient’s complete wellness.

Dr. Iman is a member of the multiple dental associations, including the ADA, CDA, IAOMT, AACD, OBI and ITI. He is also a clinical educator at UCLA School of Dentistry in the restorative department. He lectures to both dentists and university students, and was previously a clinical evaluator with Glidewell laboratories. He is certified in both Ozone treatment and SMART certified through the IAOMT.

He is very passionate about philanthropy and has traveled to Tonga, Fiji, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Mexico to provide dental care to those in need.

Dr. Iman has the honor of being part of the medical team for the LA Galaxy & Angel City Football Club. In 2023, he was a part of the Cedar Sinai medical team for the NCAA College Football finals. He is also part of the medical staff for the upcoming 2024 Copa America, taking care of the Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico and Venezuela national teams.

Under the guidance of Dr. McBride, Dr. Iman will proudly continue the legacy of the Holistic Dental Wellness Center. The Center’s mission is to educate and empower patients to make informed decisions about their healthcare — Dr. Iman looks forward to continuing to work closely with patients to honor this holistic mission.
